Classic Composite Decking Installation in Appleton, Warrington
The Challenge
The garden at this property on Dale Lane in Appleton had a significant change in ground level immediately outside the rear doors.
The customer wanted a practical outdoor area that connected naturally with the house, but achieving this meant considerably more than simply installing a deck. Around 5 tonnes of earth needed to be removed to create the correct levels and form a usable space directly outside the property.
The DecKing Solution
DecKing excavated and removed approximately 5 tonnes of earth, allowing the new decking area to be constructed at a level that worked properly with the rear doors and surrounding garden.
We then installed Classic Composite decking in Stone, finished with contrasting Ash bullnose edging and Ash fascia.
The lighter Ash detailing provides a clear contrast against the Stone deck boards, defining the edge of the installation and giving the completed deck a crisp, contemporary finish.
The Result
The completed project has transformed the area immediately outside the house into a level, practical and low-maintenance outdoor living space.
Removing the excess ground allowed the deck to sit naturally alongside the property rather than creating an unnecessarily raised structure, while the combination of Classic Stone with contrasting Ash edging and fascia gives the installation a distinctive two-tone finish.
The result is a clean transition from the house into the garden and a useful space for relaxing, entertaining and enjoying the outdoor area.
