Replace Old Rotten Timber Deck with New Stone Classic Composite Deck In Great Sankey
The Challenge
The existing timber deck had reached the end of its lifespan. Rotting joists and soft surface boards had made the area unusable and unsafe. The homeowner wanted a replacement that would look modern and, most importantly, never require sanding or staining again.
The DecKing Solution
We didn't just cover the problem; we cleared the site and built a superior replacement from the ground up:

Total Removal & Disposal: We safely dismantled and removed the old, rotten timber, ensuring the site was clear for a fresh start.

Reinforced Subframe: A brand-new, pressure-treated structural frame was installed, providing a level and rock-solid foundation for the new composite boards.

Classic Composite in "Stone": The client chose the Stone colourway—a sophisticated, mid-grey tone that perfectly matches modern bifold doors and contemporary garden furniture.

Safety & Performance: Unlike the old wood, the Stone Classic boards feature a high-grip grooved surface, making it the perfect "all-weather" deck for a family home in Great Sankey.
