Classic Composite Decking Installation in Westhoughton, Bolton
The Challenge
The customer wanted to create a dedicated outdoor seating area within the lawned rear garden of their home on West Halt Drive in Westhoughton.
The aim was to add a practical, low-maintenance space for outdoor furniture while retaining plenty of lawn and giving the new deck a strong, defined finish that complemented the modern property.
The DecKing Solution
DecKing installed approximately 12m² of Classic Composite decking, using Mocha for the main deck area with contrasting Graphite detailing.
A Graphite picture-frame border was installed around the Mocha deck boards, with matching Graphite fascia used around the exposed sides of the structure.
The contrasting colours create a crisp edge around the deck and make the warmer Mocha boards stand out, while the raised platform provides a clearly defined outdoor seating area within the garden.
The Result
The completed deck provides a smart, practical outdoor space without dominating the garden.
The combination of Classic Mocha decking with a Graphite picture-frame border and fascia gives the installation a distinctive two-tone finish, while the surrounding lawn remains open and usable.
At approximately 12m², the finished deck provides plenty of room for garden furniture and creates a dedicated area for relaxing and entertaining outdoors.
