Project Story
Mocha Composite Fencing and Matching Gates in Culcheth
The Challenge

The customer needed to replace and complete the garden boundary while retaining the parts of the existing structure that remained suitable.
The project involved two different fencing installations. One section needed to fit securely within the existing concrete fence posts, while another section had to span the space between two brick walls.
The garden also required two large pedestrian access gates. Standard timber gates would not match the new composite fencing or provide the consistent, low-maintenance finish the customer wanted.
Every section needed to work with the existing garden layout while appearing as one complete fencing and gate system.
The DecKing Solution
DecKing installed Mocha composite fencing throughout the project, adapting the installation method to suit each part of the existing boundary.
The first section was installed within the existing concrete posts, allowing the usable structure to remain in place while replacing the old fencing with durable composite boards.
For the section between the brick walls, DecKing created a black-framed composite fence using the same horizontal Mocha boards. The black frame provides a strong contrast and connects visually with the matching gate frames.
Two 1150mm × 1800mm pedestrian gates were built with matching horizontal Mocha infill. This continued the fencing design through both access points rather than introducing separate, unmatched gates.
The result is a complete composite fencing and gate installation designed around the property rather than forcing one installation method across every section.
The matching Mocha composite pedestrian gates were manufactured by Deano’s Matching Composite Gates to coordinate with the new fencing. View the made-to-order matching composite garden gate range.

The Result
The completed boundary combines Mocha composite fencing, black framing and two matching pedestrian gates in one consistent design.
The horizontal Mocha boards continue across the fencing and gates, while the black frames give the installation a clean, defined finish. Both gates provide secure and practical access without interrupting the appearance of the boundary.
Using the existing concrete posts where they remained suitable allowed DecKing to retain part of the original structure, while the framed section between the brick walls completed the boundary around the garden.
The composite boards will not require painting or staining, giving the customer a durable and low-maintenance alternative to traditional timber fencing and gates.
The result is a strong, private and coordinated garden boundary designed around the existing property and finished consistently across every section.
