Holly Grange Montessori Transformation Featuring Garden Building Classroom For Year round useage and Premium Timber Decking With Planters
The Challenge
Holly Grange Montessori is a brilliant Nursery and Preschool in Lymm but it had a lack of classroom space for it's preschool children. They also wanted a quiet cosy corner for story time as well as a beautiful garden for the children to play and required a high traffic pathway for easy access. But it had to be safe! No slips, trips or falls and as few steps as possible.
The DecKing Solution

Commercial Grade Premium Timber Decking suitable for high traffic areas with excellent slip resistance.

A flush floor throughout the classroom and corridor giving step free access to the kitchen toilets and main building.

Where 2 steps were unaviodable, we introduced a small, cute childrens gate to prevent any accidental falls.

Integrated raised planters to create a welcoming, beautiful garden.

A huge classroom designed for year round use.

A slightly raised deck in one corner with L shape corner style bench seat for the children to use as a cosy reading corner with feature apple tree bookcase.
The Result
The result is a huge hand crafted, bespoke classroom space, designed for the preschool children that is not only functional but it is beautiful too. In fact the common discussion between parents and teachers is a proposed change of use from classroom for the children to
