Fitter

We are looking for experienced Fitters to join our team.

Working independently and in teams, you’ll install Timber & Composite; Decking, Fencing, Gates, Pergolas, Gazebos, Sheds & Garden Buildings and other DecKing products to a high standard at customer locations. Remove and refit decking, fencing, sheds etc. Perform remedial work.
Work with equipment such as compound mitre saws, impact drivers, angle grinders, multi-tools and hand tools. Ability to work and progress the project without constant supervision.
Tools and training are provided to ensure that you can do a quality job but past relevant experience is a must.
Load and unload the vehicle, collect/deliver materials, dispose of waste properly. Follow Health & Safety guidelines as set out by the company and work safely on site with power tools.
Work as part of a team to get the job done quickly to a high standard.
Some travel is required every day in company-provided vehicles to customer locations; a full UK driving licence is required.
Maintain Excellent time keeping and reliability.

Purpose of the Role:
Utilising the success and reputation of our business, you’ll tailor our superior products and services to meet the unique needs of each business/customer.
You will undertake site visits to customer locations and fit our products quickly, to a high standard.

As a Fitter, you will possess the capability to measure, fit and address remedial tasks to get the job done to a high standard and in good time. You will be collaborating with other Fitters and the Project Leader to ensure seamless operations and timely completion of projects.

The role typically includes working Monday to Friday and some weekends during our peak season. Working on site at customer locations between 8am and 5pm. Flexibility is required during busy times or to enable us to complete a project you may need to stay a little later on occasion.

This is a Self Employed Sub Contractor position. Pay starts from £26,000 and is negotiable depending on skill and experience. Paid Weekly on a Friday one week in arrears.
For insurance purposes: You must be aged 25 - 65 and have been a UK resident for at least 2 years. You must have a full UK/EU driving licence for a minimum of 3 years with no more than 5 penalty points within the last 3 years and not have been banned from driving in the past 5 years.
