Raised Timber Decking With Steps & Lighting in Stockton Heath
A bespoke raised timber decking installation in Stockton Heath, Warrington, featuring wide access steps and integrated colour-changing LED lights to create a practical outdoor seating area.
The Challenge
The rear doorway sat above the level of the garden, making access between the property and the outside space difficult.
The new deck needed to create a practical platform at doorway level, fit neatly between the existing brick boundary walls and provide comfortable access to the lower garden.
The DecKing Solution
DecKing constructed a strong pressure-treated timber subframe before installing the new timber decking across the raised area.
The deck was carefully built around the existing walls and doorway to make full use of the available space. Wide bespoke timber steps were added across the front, creating a comfortable transition between the raised platform and the garden.
Remote-controlled, colour-changing LED deck lights were integrated into the steps to improve visibility and add evening ambience.
The Result
The completed installation provides a clean and practical outdoor seating area directly outside the property.
The raised deck connects naturally with the rear doorway, while the wide illuminated steps make the lower garden easier to access. The finished project combines traditional timber decking with bespoke construction and integrated lighting to create a useful outdoor space for both daytime and evening use.
