Bespoke Timber Decking With Play Area in Great Sankey, Warrington
The Challenge
The customer wanted more than a standard garden deck. They wanted to transform their Great Sankey garden into a practical outdoor space that could be enjoyed by the whole family.
The brief was to create a premium timber decking area for relaxing and seating, while also incorporating a fun, safe and exciting children’s play area. The garden needed to work for adults and children, with a strong structure, natural timber finish and bespoke features that made the space feel unique.
The challenge was to bring all of these elements together into one connected design, rather than having a separate deck and play area that felt disconnected from the rest of the garden.
The DecKing Solution
DecKing designed and installed a bespoke premium timber decking project that combined outdoor living with family play.
The installation included a veranda-style timber seating area, cascading timber steps and a custom-built children’s play section. The play area featured a castle-style turret, tube slide, climbing wall, rope feature and large sand pit, all built into the overall garden design.
By using a bespoke timber framework and professional installation methods, the finished structure was designed for strength, safety and everyday family use. Every part of the project was planned to create a garden that felt practical, exciting and built to last.
The Result
The finished DecKing project transformed the garden into a family-friendly outdoor living space with real character.
