Timber Dunster House Dominator Installation in Rock Ferry, Wirral
This complete Dunster House installation on Walter Smith Way in Rock Ferry, Birkenhead, created a dedicated entertainment room for the customer’s teenage children. DecKing constructed the concrete base and professionally installed the 4.5m × 2.5m timber Dunster House Dominator insulated garden room.
The Challenge
The customer wanted to create a separate entertainment space where their teenage children could relax, socialise and spend time with friends without taking over the main house.
The new garden room needed to fit neatly within the available garden space while providing enough room for seating, entertainment and everyday use. Before the building could be assembled, the 4.5m × 2.5m Dunster House Dominator required a strong and completely level foundation.
The challenge was to construct the concrete base accurately around the building dimensions and then complete the full garden-room installation as one coordinated project.

DecKing constructed a level concrete base designed specifically for the dimensions and requirements of the Dunster House Dominator.
Once the base was ready, our team assembled the complete 4.5m × 2.5m timber garden room. The installation included the main structure, insulated wall system, doors, windows, roof and external finishing components supplied with the building.
The positioning of the building made effective use of the available garden while retaining space around it for access and maintenance. The glazed doors and windows bring natural light into the room and create a bright, welcoming interior.
By completing the concrete base and building installation together, DecKing ensured that the foundation and garden room were properly aligned from the beginning.
The Result
The finished Dunster House Dominator provides the family with a dedicated entertainment room for their teenage children to relax, spend time together and enjoy greater independence from the main house.
The insulated timber construction creates a substantial garden room, while the glazed front doors and surrounding windows provide plenty of natural light. Its position within the garden creates a separate space without requiring an extension to the property.
